Please join us for the ABSO Clinical Update Day and the opening of our Begg Museum. followed by a celebratory dinner on Friday 30 September 2022. Our invited speakers Professor Marie Cornelis and Associate Professor Paolo Cattaneo from the University of Melbourne will present on the day. We will also hear an update on the East Timor Cleft Palate Project by Dr Mark Leedham and from a range of speakers speaking on the history of Dr PR Begg and his legacy.
The Australasian Begg Society of Orthodontists celebrates the ideals and the progressive thinking of Dr P Raymond Begg and encompasses orthodontists of all treatment philosophies and techniques. Membership is open to all specialist orthodontists who enjoy an informative and stimulating scientific program in a relaxed, congenial atmosphere at some of Australia's foremost locations. We are a Society that strives for excellence in achieving our treatment goals.
We will also have the opening of our new Begg Museum, a collaboration between ABSO and the ASO SA Branch.

Cancellation Fees
Cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Secretariat by 1 September 2022. There is an $100 cancellation fee. Refunds will only be issued in exceptional circumstances after this date, but substitute delegates are acceptable. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to our ASM Meeting Manager, lara@themeetingpeople.com.au. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted.
We understand the impact COVID-19 may have on travel and attendance; therefore, no administration fees will be charged for cancellations made prior to 1 September. Cancellation requests made after this date will receive a full refund minus an administration fee of $100 cancellation fee. cancellations made after this date will be considered on a case by case basis.
Refunds will be returned via the same payment method as the original receipt of funds.
ABSO requests that any delegate who is feeling unwell or has cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, not attend the Annual Meeting.
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Clinical Day Meeting, you must notify us in writing by email lara@themeetingpeople.com.au. Your registration will be changed to be able to access the recordings post event, and a refund for the social events will be returned; however, you may be asked to provide additional details.
