Hands-on course by Dr Winsauer
· M4: ideal and secure position for temporary anchorage devices (TADs)
· Maxillary posterior tooth distalisation with TopJet clix
· Palatal expansion with Hybrid-Hyrax Expander
This hand-on course is aimed at orthodontists and orthodontic labs who wish to expand their range of treatment with skeletal anchoring.
After this course, the participants should be able to insert mini-screws in the anterior palate and integrate the mini-screw supported distalisation with the TopJet distaliser as well as the purely skeletal anchored palatal suture expansion using Micro2 and hybrid expanders in their approach to treatment.
Conveys in-depth theoretical knowledge of secure insertion and application of palatal mini-screws for orthodontic anchoring. Active observation of the insertion of mini-screws as well as the installation and removal of devices from the patient. Detailed exercises on a typodont.
